The software we build

Three products, each built because we needed it ourselves: ViewRank AI and Lipo Voice AI for the work of making content, and Bibasi, coming soon, for the conversations you have when you travel.

ViewRank AI

Every creator has a few videos that did far better than the rest. ViewRank finds those outliers on any public Instagram or TikTok profile, breaks down why they worked, and helps you script your own version.

  • Free Chrome extension: sort any public profile by views, likes, comments, or newest
  • Outlier scores reveal which videos beat a creator’s own average, not just the raw view count
  • Viral Tracker checks the creators you follow every few days and flags their breakouts
  • Visual Analysis: scene-by-scene breakdown of hooks, visuals, and retention techniques

Lipo Voice AI

Speak the way you think, in any of 50+ languages, and get clean text back in under a second. Say it in your own language and Lipo can hand it back in English, so a weaker second language stops being the thing that slows you down.

  • Dictation in 50+ languages, built for people who don’t think in English
  • Translate as you speak: say it in one language and get it back in another
  • Talk in your own language and prompt AI tools in fluent English
  • Grammar correction and cleanup happen automatically, in under a second

Bibasi

Put your iPhone between you and talk. Bibasi hears who is speaking, translates each turn and says it aloud in the other language, in any of 59. Point the camera at a menu or a sign and it reads that too. Coming soon to the App Store.

  • Two-way conversation in 59 languages, on one phone
  • Hands-free: it tells who is speaking and answers in the other language
  • Look: photograph a menu, sign or label and read it in your language
  • Prices said in a conversation are converted into your currency on screen

Why we build these

Every tool here answers a problem we hit first

Metly Media started out producing and editing content for creators and brands. We kept running into the same wall. Finding out what was working in a niche meant scrolling a profile for forty minutes and guessing, and the tools that promised to fix that were either paywalled at 25 posts or built for enterprise social teams. So we started building our own, and we give away the ones that should be free.

More tools are in the pipeline. Every one of them has to do at least one of these four things for the person actually making the content.

Make better content

See what already worked in your niche, and why, before you spend a day shooting something that won’t.

Work faster

Transcripts, thumbnails, dictation, and research that took an afternoon should take a minute.

Reach more people

Understand the formats that travel, then build your own version instead of copying a video frame for frame.

Build something that lasts

Turn one video that worked into a repeatable format, and a format into an audience that stays.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Metly Media?

Metly Media makes software for content creators and publishes the guides and tutorials that help them use it. Our software includes ViewRank AI for researching short-form video on Instagram and TikTok, and Lipo Voice AI for voice dictation on Mac, alongside a set of free tools that need no account. Bibasi, a live interpreter for iPhone, is coming soon. We also write guides, reviews, and comparisons covering the tools creators rely on, including products we do not build ourselves. The team started out producing and editing content for creators and brands, which is where most of the problems we build against came from.

Are the free tools really free?

Yes. All four free tools work without an account, a card, or an install: transcript generators for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram Reels, plus a YouTube thumbnail downloader. Paste a public link and you get your result.

How do I get the transcript of a YouTube video?

Paste the video link into the free YouTube Transcript Generator. It returns the full script with a timestamp on every line, works on both regular videos and Shorts, and lets you search the text, copy it, or download it as plain text, Word, a spreadsheet, or an SRT subtitle file.

Can I transcribe a TikTok or an Instagram Reel?

Yes, using the free TikTok Transcript Generator and the free Instagram Reel Transcript Generator. Both work on any public link, the TikTok tool handles more than 60 languages, and neither one asks you to create an account.

How do I download a YouTube thumbnail?

Paste the video or Short link into the free YouTube Thumbnail Downloader. It returns every size YouTube stores, up to 1280x720 for regular videos and the true vertical cover for Shorts, and you can paste up to 50 links at once and get them back as a single ZIP or PDF.

Do these tools need my Instagram or TikTok login?

No. The free tools only need a public link, and the ViewRank Chrome extension reads the public profile you are already looking at. None of them ask for your account password.

What is ViewRank AI?

ViewRank AI finds the best-performing videos on any public Instagram or TikTok profile. The free Chrome extension sorts a profile by views, likes, or comments and scores outliers against that creator’s own average, so a video that beat its baseline stands out even when the raw view count looks ordinary. The full platform adds competitor tracking, scene-by-scene visual analysis, and AI idea and script generation.

What is Lipo Voice AI?

Lipo is voice dictation for Mac. You speak in any of 50+ languages and it returns clean, grammar-corrected text in under a second, inside whichever app you were already typing in. It also translates as you speak, so you can talk in your own language and get the text out in English. Plans start at $7.99 a month and your dictation history stays on your Mac.
